Just the right length and depth for a short read. This book had lots going on and a few twists along the way. Unfortunately it did leave some unanswered questions.

Yep, read this little adrenaline shot before putting it back into the box to go out just after the Jubilee Holiday.

I had read a joint production with these authors before so had an idea that this would be fine, yet somehow this combo of Michael Bennett and Darya Kuznetsova mixed well and added a sweetly personal note to Michael's storyline as the characters were better drawn than the usual caricatures and interacted well.

Adversely, the 2 additional 'bits' of prologue to 2 other books did not entice me to go read the books but quite the opposite! Must be me.
