An excellent crime story set in Norfolk with a good cast of characters and a lot of twists and turns. An enjoyable read, sad there won't be anymore since the author died in June 2021

Caught at the Old Gang Meet Up. Thank you!

This was a good quick holiday read. Some of the characters certainly had complicated lives. Angelina has to be one of the most annoying people ever. It was also hard to feel much sympathy towards the 2 murder victims, as they both seemed to be nasty pieces of work. I'll probably save this for a book box.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

And off it goes in the Read It, Leave It, Swap It book ring. Happy reading!

I chose this to read out of the Read it, Swap it, Leave it Bookring.
Overall I did enjoy the novel but it lost points on:
Adele gave Charlie aspirin at 5 years old. You don't give aspirin to children under the age of 16. I thought this was common knowledge.
Such a posh set, even the copper had a Barbour jacket and cashmere was common.
The Ancestry went a bit far IMO. It was obvious (to me) what was going on!

This will be travelling again in the ring for another member to enjoy.
