I love to read about scientific discoveries, the classics, well written novels with depth, memoir, biographies about women, science fiction if it has depth and challenges me to think. I rarely have time to read, but when I do, I go through a spurt of several
books a week.
I was born in San Francisco, California, USA, and not live on the Mendocino Coast of Northern California. In my business I create interpretive displays and trailside information panels for parks and visitor centers in natural and historic areas. I have an extensive background in natural history, years of teaching environmental education in the public schools, and an MFA in visual art. I'm happily married and love to bike, hike, snorkel, sea kayak, and backpack.
