Extended Profile
Hello, I am Tamara29 and live in Mainz, Germany. As a child, I read everything - from every book the library had to offer to the ingredients of the jam on the breakfast table. Over the last years I lost that interest for a while, mostly because I had to
do a lot of reading for university already. But now I am slowly trying to get back to it. I especially love browsing the many open bookshelves/little free libraries we have in my city, so many books I register here have had other, unknown owners and readers
before me. I found a book with a bookcrossing label on it at my workplace a few months ago, got curious and looked up what it is - and that's how I ended up here.
I mostly read novels, historical fiction, some crime, non-fiction about topics such as feminism, ecology and climate, and the occasional (auto)biography. Books about Kenya or set in Kenya or other (East) African countries are some of my favourites as well because I lived and worked there for one year. But I am open to other genres as well. I read in both German and English, and would like to try reading an easier and shorter book in French too.
Books marked available are books I am willing to give away. Books marked personal collection or to be read may be borrowed, if I can be sure they will be returned. Just dm me.
Happy reading!
