I love to read books with interesting and fully developed characters. Historical novels like "The Other Boleyn Girl" area big hit with me. But I also enjoy Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series. I just enjoy a good story and am always interesed to talk about books with others who also like to read. Some of my favorite books that I have read over the past couple of years would be: Cane River; I Don't Know How She Does It; Empire Falls; I Know This Much is True; Bridget Jones' Diary (and sequal); A Fine Balance; The Corrections and Cold Mountain. I never like to be between books. When I finish one book, I like to have the next book waiting for me to start.

When I'm not reading I am either busy working full-time, playing with my 15 month old son and spending time with my husband, doing volunteer work or working (part-time) on my MBA. I like to go to movies, but seem to have limited time to indulge that particular activity. My husband and I love to travel and we are always planning or thinking about our next trip. I love to meet new people and hear their stories too. I love to constantly learn new things -- which is probably one of the reasons that I like to read so much.
