Extended Profile
My wife and I live on a 120 acre farm in Pendleton County, Kentucky. We raise Shetland sheep, donkeys, and alpacas. The sheep and alpacas are raised for their fleece. We are members of the Kentucky Wool Society and promote the fiber arts, especially the
use of natural fibers. We live in a log cabin that we built with the help of one of our sons. I taught math in Ohio for thirty-one years. The past four years I have been teaching algebra and precalculus at the county high school. Our interests include spinning,
weaving, wood working, blacksmithing, glass lampwork, and collecting books. Our favorite activity is spending time with our two grandsons who live in Tacoma, Washington.
