Extended Profile
I'm a lifelong reader.
My favorite author, without question, is William Faulkner, but I also have read, and reread, all the books
of Albert Camus, John Steinbeck, F. Scott Fitzgeralk, Ernie Hemingway, Fyodor Doestoevsky, and more.
Most recently into David McCullough's surprise best-seller, "John Adams," and loving every page of it. Next, Hawkings "The Universe in a Nutshell." Waiting in the wings the collected works of Garcia Marquez. So many books, not enough time......I live by the sea in Del Mar about 20 minutes north of San Diego and for all of my reading, music is my major love, from Beethoven and Mozart to Stan Kenton and John Coltrane to The Beach Boys and The Beatles.
Recently discovered Norman Mailer, through "Harlot's Ghost" and am loving every word of his works.....Joe
