Extended Profile
For Christmas, when I was five, my aunt and uncle gave me a copy of The Illustrated Treasury of Children's Literature - it was the most incredible thing I'd ever seen - it had everything - Mother Goose, Beatrix Potter, Aesop, The Brothers Grimm, Hans Christian
Andersen, Dr. Seuss, as well as excerpts from books written by authors such as Robert Louis Stevenson, Rudyard Kipling, L. Frank Baum, Lewis Carroll, and more.
I loved that book, I read it over and over and over again, in fact, I still have it -
On the inside cover of the book, they wrote the following:
"Read and grow wiser - your books will always be your friends."
They were absolutely correct, my books have always been my friends, and I am forever grateful for them.
p.s. Reading is Sexy.
