Your Supply Store order... and your email address

A few words from your Supply Store manager, who has something to say about email addresses.

Lately we're seeing some orders that were made from a different addres than the one in the member's profile. This is a problem, as the email address is what the system uses to look up which member made the order... and if those addresses do not match, that lookup will fail. It's especially problematic in the case of orders that contain prenumbered labels: those prenumbered BCIDs need to be assigned to your account, but what if the system doesn't know who you are? Then the order can simply not be processed at all, and we'll need to contact you to ask for your BookCrossing username. This will cause extra work on all sides, and delays.

The remedy is very simple: please make very sure to always, always make your BookCrossing Supply Store orders from the same email address that is in your BookCrossing account. Then all should go smoothly and delays will be avoided.
