I'm recovering from surgery on my hip and can't get around easily. I'm relying on my poor husband for most things and this just kept getting pushed to the back of the very long list, but it has been posted at last.

This bookbox has arrived today in a Royal Mail sack sealed with a cable tie. It looks like the packing tape has been cut because the box is undamaged but open. Fortunately the card and 7 books are there. Let me know the tracking number if you have one and want me to make a complaint.

arrived safely with me today
Arrived with me this morning, I hope to be able to get it on its way by the end of the week.

The box has arrived with me today. This box is now more packing tape than cardboard! Will make sure it's sturdy enough to make the Journey to Nataliec7 and home. Pming Nataliec7 with a view of sending on in the next couple of days.
Goodness, sorry the box is more packing tape than cardboard - Amazon are just not making them like they used to! (though I cannot recall whether that was an Amazon box or not - and it may well not be the original box it left here in anyway!!).
BTW, not the first time it will arrive back here as more tape than box, and not the first time that it arrived home in a box completely different to that which it left in either, but then I normally wrap boxes in plastic anyway rather than just sending the box so that hopefully the weather will not disintegrate the cardboard box.
The important thing is that the books are ok with, hopefully, a decent selection and the card.
I see it only has one other person before it comes back to me so I had best get another Forumm thread going for a new round in the next week or so.
